Video games is to guys as Pinterest is to chicks.
Too true.
Anywho, sometimes you find those Pins that are so awesome you just have to try it for real! The link I found was to a blog called AndThenWeSaved.com, and it listed 56 Things to Do Instead of Spending Money.
(Which I desperately need because I am a broke college student with no extra cash. And also I am frequently bored with myself.)
#12 summarized: Take one picture an hour. Document your day to show others how great your life is!
So that's what I did today! Maybe I didn't accomplish a lot but it kept me busy and it was fun to use my camera phone all day taking pictures of my beautiful self. Here are the results!
10 AM: I got out of bed, showered, and picked out my outfit. Red jeans! Woop woop!
11 AM: Changed my shirt a few times (just like every day! haha) and I am make-upped & ready to go! Dang I look fine! ;)
Close to 12 PM: I did some last-minute studying and read too long! Was running late to class. Today was a test day!
& yet still managed to snap a pic. Priorities, right?
1 PM: Got done with my test early. Felt pretty good about it so I stopped by Arby's to treat myself to a mint shake. Cheers!
Who needs Mickey D's Shamrock?
2 PM: Started a new blog! Took forever messing around with the layout but I am happy with it. Isn't it mahhvelous?
p.s. I drew that logo right there! Yeah.
Your face probably looks like this:
Ahem. Continuing on...
3 PM: Got the mail & was reading the Times Independent which my dad sends me every week. Reading the obituaries might seem quite morbid to you, but my old friend Zach died last week in a rappelling accident. It was sudden and very tragic. I've been thinking about him all week and reflecting on life & such. It sucks that it was his time to go, but I suppose God had other plans.
4 PM: I live like, 2 minutes away from Wal-Mart. But today when I decided to drag myself to the store for some face wash & Carmex I deliberately drove an extra 8 minutes to go to Smith's, where there are fewer idiots (and humans in general). Sure glad I did! My fave brand was on sale & lucky me, I got the last bottle! Booyah!
5 PM: This pretty girl Chanel is going to be Toto in Wizard of Oz! I drove her all the way to practice but they didn't need her after all.
She looks distressed because Shanti (our Great Dane puppy) molested her when she got home. She'll get over it.
6 PM: Freshened up & headed on over to my cousins' house for dinner. They're about my grandparents' age but they are still delightful company.
7 PM: After dinner we sat in the living area and chatted for a while.
p.s. Amazon.com has this book for only $11.55.
Again, your face should probably look like this:
'Cause seriously. It's a great book! Check it out.
Here it is, ladies and gentlemen! The grande finale picture!
Oh, I almost forgot. If you want to view that blog post I got this challenge from, here ya go:
